"Thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing us the privilege of renting that little piece of heaven known as Creekside Manor. What a beautiful spot, what a perfect weekend. The caretaker greeted us Thursday and he was so accommodating and welcoming and that was just the beginning of a perfect weekend. What pleases me most is how impressed all of our guests from Florida, Illinois, and Indiana were with your manor…… not to mention the locals who had no idea of the hidden treasure in their own backyards. Thank you again - (although it does not seem to adequately convey how grateful I am)."

“We spent the week swimming in the creek, visiting our old schools, neighborhoods, church, family and friends.  This house is a wonderful place for everyone to gather and grill meals.  We could all sit around outside and catch up for hours while the kids played in the creek.  It was a fantastic week!”

"We just got back from a wonderful vacation at your home. We all enjoyed ourselves so much. Your home, Creekside Manor, was truly a home away from home. We were able to visit with our immediate family (we have four grown children and four young grandchildren). We also were able to visit with extended family in Williamsport, and Montoursville. Since my husband and I grew up in Williamsport we knew of the many fun things to do in the area. However, the creek was a focal point for everyone for this vacation. The caretaker was a great host. He made sure we had all we needed. The cleaning crew also should be commended. All was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. Thank you for sharing your home."

“We’ve rented other cottages and cabins on the Loyalsock over the years.  The difference is that this is a home, and you feel it as soon as you enter the house.  I grew up in Montoursville and have many fond memories of time spent on the ‘Sock.  Although I left town many years ago, it is such a great feeling to come “home” to a home!  Thanks for making this great place available.”

“Creekside Manor has made our vacation the best one ever to PA.  This is home to both my husband and me although we live overseas.  He was home on his 2 weeks of leave and we decided to come home and host Thanksgiving dinner for family & friends and everyone loved the gorgeous views!  We will be coming back to Creekside Manor every time we visit our family in PA.”

“Washington State/US NW Regional Little League Champs!  Thank you so much for sharing your home away from home!  Our stay at the Manor was marvelous.  What a treat for the team boys to gather with their families for a day of fishing, rafting campfires, and BBQ.  All the comforts of home for our stay.  Would love to come back to explore the area more and its history.  Bet it’s beautiful in the winter also!

"We had an excellent time at the Manor. I found a beautiful Christmas tree in Williamsport and it looked great in the Manor.  Christmas day was relaxing, and to our surprise the family came to visit Saturday with no hitches. The atmosphere was very festive. Also I'm sure you will be hearing from some of my family who would also like to rent the Manor. We love this place!!!!!!"

"Excellent week ….cozy, fun, and good variety of activities. Early June rains made the creek nice and high for tubing. Great fishing spot (small mouth bass, perch, and trout) Campfires were the best!"

"We had a wonderful, relaxing, family oriented week. It was our first family vacation and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Your home is laid out perfectly. We spent every evening at the campfire with our children and their children. Indeed, life does not get any better than that. Our most memorable time, to me, was at dinner when each grandchild wanted to say a prayer of thanks for everything from their parents, our family, baby crabs, the fish, etc. It was a week that we will not soon forget. We definitely would like to spend some time at Creekside Manor again. Thank you and your lovely family, again, for an unforgettable experience”

“We rafted down to Pier 87 several times, ate at Johnson’s Café followed by Eders ice cream, picked up fresh sweet corn from Snyder’s and homemade pies from Jean down the road.....just had a wonderful time.  Thank you for sharing your home with us!”

“Our second Memorial Day weekend at Creekside Manor.  As before the house could not be any better.  Very warm and beautiful weather all weekend.  Had lots of great food and creek time.  Also did a 3 mile tube float.  Of course we had to visit Eder’s a few times!”

“The week goes by so fast.  I am writing this as the kayaks are being loaded for their farewell journey back home.  It was another truly blessed and wonderful week here on the ‘Sock.  Another highlight of the week was our hike to Haystacks.  Most enjoyable was just being together as family and enjoying the beauty around us.”

“Another amazing stay at Creekside Manor, our home  away from home.  From floating down the creek to Pier 87 to spending the day at Knoebels Grove, we had such a great time.  It seems that every time we come here the time flies by way too fast.  The good news is that we have tons of blueberries to take back!  Picking blueberries has always been a fun tradition that we all look forward to.  We haven’t left yet but we are already looking forward to coming back!”
